Job Position – Project Accountant
Company Name – ASTRA Engineering & Construction
The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end project financials, ensuring compliance, and supporting management with timely insights.
Location: Abu Dhabi
Industry: Oil & Gas / EPC / Infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
– Monitor project budgets, actuals, and variances.
– Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with IFRS 15.
– Prepare progress billings, manage receivables, and track retentions.
– Forecast project cash flows and support treasury requirements.
– Work closely with Project Managers, Procurement, and Commercial teams.
– Handle project audits, compliance, and reporting.
– Ensure project cost accrual are provided
– Finalise project profit and loss statement monthly
Skills & Competencies
– Strong knowledge of IFRS, project cost control, and financial reporting.
– Proficiency in ERP systems.
– Advanced Excel & analytical skills.
– Experience in EPC / EPCM / DBOOM projects preferred.
