Job Position – GL Accountants

Company Name – RSR Group

Location – Dubai Marina

Salary: Upto 8k AED per month

Job Purpose:
To manage and control the company’s accounts payable and receivable functions and support general accounting activities. The role requires a tech-savvy professional with strong analytical skills, knowledge of AI tools, and advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel. Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP):
– Process vendor invoices, verify against POs and contracts.
– Ensure timely payments and resolve any discrepancies.
– Reconcile supplier accounts and maintain AP aging reports.
– Coordinate with procurement and operations for invoice validation.

Accounts Receivable (AR):
– Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up on collections.
– Monitor receivables aging and escalate overdue accounts.
– Post customer receipts and reconcile customer accounts.
– Generate monthly AR reports and support cash flow planning.

General Accounting:
– Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and provisions.
– Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
– Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts, and ledgers.
– Support audit requirements with proper documentation and schedules.

Technology & Analytics Focus:
– Use advanced Microsoft Excel functions (PivotTables, Lookups, VBA/macros) for data analysis and reporting.
– Apply AI tools and automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate, ChatGPT, or Excel Copilot) to improve finance workflows.

Required Skills & Competencies:
– Accounting knowledge (IFRS preferred).
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
– Good understanding of AI applications in finance and emerging tools for automation.
– Knowledge of or hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred).
– Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications & Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
– Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
– Knowledge of VAT/CT accounting and UAE tax regulations
