Position Overview:
The Charge Nurse – ICU is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the operations of the ICU unit, ensuring that patient care is delivered effectively, efficiently, and safely. The Charge Nurse will work closely with the ICU team, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to manage patient care while also providing guidance and mentorship to nursing staff. The position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
– Valid DHA License – mandatory for consideration.
– Proven experience as a Charge Nurse in an ICU setting is required.
– Strong leadership, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.
– Ability to manage and coordinate high-acuity care in a fast-paced environment.
