About Dubai Metro

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is responsible for operating and maintaining the Dubai Metro, one of the most advanced metro systems in the world. The RTA Careers offers a range of exciting career opportunities in fields such as engineering, operations, customer service, and administration.

Serco successfully launched the Dubai Metro in 2009, the Arabian Peninsula’s first urban rail transit system and the world’s longest fully automatic driverless train system. Serco provides full operations, maintenance and integrated facilities management for the automated Dubai Metro rail network and the operations control centers, maintaining 99.9% train service availability and 99.9% train punctuality for the Dubai Metro. Route 2020 is a 15-kilometer extension to Dubai Metro’s Red Line and links 7 stations.
