Job Position – Information Technology Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT system failures, connectivity problems, and security incidents.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and IT equipment.
  • Manage user accounts, email configurations, and access control.
  • Provide support for MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), including installation, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect company data, including firewall management, antivirus updates, and vulnerability patching.
  • Identify and mitigate potential security risks through regular system audits and monitoring.
  • Maintain IT documentation, inventory, and asset management.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for IT-related purchases and services.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining office networks and servers.

Requirements:

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and network/system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, cloud-based applications, and MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption tools, and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining backup policies and disaster recovery plans.
  • Ability to identify and respond to phishing, malware, and other cyber threats.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
