Looking for an experienced System Administrator – Windows & Cloud to join a leading banking environment in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise across Windows infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, virtualization, and enterprise security. Candidates must currently be based in Dubai/UAE and must have prior banking or financial services experience.

Key Responsibilities:
– Install, configure, administer, and maintain Microsoft Windows Servers.
– Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers.
– Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including authentication, user management, and access control.
– Provision, support, and maintain Microsoft Azure IaaS & PaaS services.
– Manage Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery using Azure Site Recovery or similar technologies.
– Administer VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V environments, including VM provisioning, cloning, snapshots, and migrations.
– Manage and support x86 server infrastructure.
– Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online/Hybrid, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune (MDM/MAM).
– Implement and maintain SSO, MFA, and Conditional Access policies.
– Perform system hardening, patching, vulnerability management, and performance tuning.
– Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot system, server, and virtualization issues.
– Maintain system documentation, configurations, procedures, and infrastructure diagrams.
– Support security, compliance, audit requirements, and PCI-DSS standards.

Required Experience & Skills:
– Minimum 8 years of relevant IT infrastructure / system administration experience.
– Banking / Financial Services experience is mandatory.
– Candidate should be currently based in Dubai/UAE.
– Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server & Active Directory.
– Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
– Experience with Microsoft 365 and Intune.
– Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V.
– Good understanding of system security, vulnerability management, backup, and disaster recovery.
– Experience working within ITIL processes and best practices.
– Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education:
– Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Certifications:
– Microsoft Windows / Azure / Microsoft 365 certifications
– Azure or AWS Cloud certifications
-ITIL Foundation or higher
