Responsibilities:

– As the technical owner, maintain customer networks in the energy and transportation industries (mainly optical transmission networks).
– Develop proactive maintenance tasks for customer networks and complete the tasks within the required time.
– As the first maintenance contact person, respond to customer network emergencies in a timely manner and organize recovery activities. Periodically perform health checks on the network, develop emergency plans, and cooperate with the customer to complete emergency drills.
– Regularly review and maintain KPIs and send various maintenance reports. Periodically review the network and provide improvement suggestions.
– Support pre-sales activities.

Basic requirements:
– Have at least 8 years of experience in deploying or maintaining optical transmission networks, be able to independently lead the fault locating and troubleshooting of systems, and have strong problem analysis and solving capabilities and strong stress resistance.
– Have good communication and collaboration skills.
– Have a strong sense of independence, be able to independently take charge of assigned tasks, and be willing to study and summarize.
– Be proficient in using various office software.
– Experience in the energy and transportation industries is preferred.
– High cyber security awareness.

Professional Knowledge Requirements:
– Proficient in the basic principles of SDH/MSTP/MPLS-TP, familiar with the SDH signal frame structure and multiplexing steps, and understand the logical functional block composition of SDH equipment.
– Proficient in the basic principles of WDM and OTN protocols. Understand the key factors affecting WDM transmission and be proficient in WDM signal flow. Be proficient in various transmission network protection protocols.
– Have more than 8 years of experience in the delivery and maintenance of optical transmission projects (OTN/DWDM/SDH), capable of quickly understanding business requirements and providing appropriate solutions based on those requirements.
– Familiar with optical transmission equipment from major vendors, with preference given to those familiar with Huawei optical transmission products. Experience in network management system installation and maintenance, and familiarity with basic Linux operations is preferred.
– Familiar with the AC/DC power supply systems in equipment rooms and have some understanding of AC/DC conversion equipment.
– Understand common types of optical fibers. Proficient in using various maintenance instruments: optical power meters, OTDRs, Ethernet testers, and multimeters.
– Have a basic understanding of data communication principles and be able to comprehend the networking architecture of customer data communication networks.
